Questions
The things people ask most often about Seated.
Seated is a free daily seating-logic puzzle. Six guests, one round table, and opinions about who they sit beside — arrange them so nobody leaves miserable and as many as possible leave delighted.
How often is there a new puzzle?
Every day. Everyone playing on a given day gets exactly the same table, so you can compare results with anyone.
Does it cost anything?
No. Seated is free, shows no advertising, and does not sell your data.
Do I need an account?
No. Every puzzle is playable without one. An account only carries your streak and stats between devices, and unlocks the catch-up archive.
How do streaks work?
Solve the puzzle on consecutive days. A streak is two or more days in a row — one day on its own is just a day you played. Miss a day, or run out of servings without solving, and it resets.
Does catching up on an old puzzle restore my streak?
No, and that is deliberate. Playing an archived day counts towards your stats — puzzles played, solved, perfect tables — but never towards your streak. The streak is about showing up on the day.
What makes a table "perfect"?
All six guests delighted at once. Solving is enough to keep your streak; perfect is the harder thing to brag about.
I think today's puzzle was impossible.
Every puzzle is checked before it is published — how puzzles are made explains what that means. If one still looks wrong, email hello@uncomplicatedinc.com and tell us which day, and we will look at that exact board.
Where do I learn the rules?
